Intern - Data Scientist

What You'll Do
This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world datasets and exposure to the full data science lifecycle—from data cleaning and exploration to model development and deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to solve meaningful problems and build impactful, data-driven solutions.
We Expect You To Have
- A solid understanding of core data science and machine learning concepts
- Curiosity about deep learning, including neural networks and transformer-based architectures
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and modern natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Exposure to LLM workflows such as prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning
- Hands-on experience with Python and common data science libraries such as pandas/Polars, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and think outside the box
- Completed (or currently pursuing) a university degree or self-taught—we welcome anyone who is passionate about data science, regardless of background
It's Great If You Have
- Familiarity with software engineering practices such as version control, testing, and working with APIs
- Ability to understand, adapt, initiate, implement processes, and operate in a changing and sometimes undefined environment
- Analytical thinking and planning, communication, problem-solving, good judgment, and the ability to influence others positively are required
- Ability to effectively communicate even when the information is sensitive/difficult
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
