What We’re Looking For
You will be responsible for the management of the IT needs of all stakeholders including evaluating, purchasing, implementing, and maintaining software and hardware solutions, providing technical support and consultation to end users, keeping the systems up to date with the company security standards, and provision of day-to-day IT support.
This is a unique opportunity that will require you to be “hands-on” with regard to network and infrastructure monitoring and management.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of IT personnel, directs them to resolve issues, and manage the overall workflow of the IT department
- Define company IT policies, monitor and proactively take corrective actions
- Proactively recommend and implement improvements to the existing hardware and software systems
- Research and implement the latest and best practices followed by the community/industry related to infrastructure and security
- Provide support to rectify issues related to the network/systems availability that might hinder the company employees from carrying out their work in a timely manner
- Work closely with project teams and assist them in overcoming any challenges they face related to infrastructure
- Proactively identify security risks, and recommend preventive actions
- Work closely with service providers to procure, and maintain/repair, software, hardware, and connectivity
- Maintain the office hardware and software inventory, and asset registry
We Expect You To Have
- Should have worked in an IT manager capacity for at least 3+ years
- Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management
- Good knowledge and understanding of Information Security
- Experience working with ISO 27001 standards is a PLUS
- Experience working with cloud platforms
- Any certifications on Cloud platforms is an added advantage
