Business Challenge


Monster Media Racing (MMR) is a community of cycling enthusiasts with chapters across multiple states in the US. They organize events and races for the community and needed way to coordinate these activities as online.

The Calcey team worked with the client to identify existing workflows and structure of the community and replicate these relationships online. Keeping in mind the usual challenges faced by such offline to online transitions, the goal was to create the most intuitive user experience. WordPress was chosen as the backend for the portal due to its ease of use.

Delivery


The new MMR portal connects the community, easing tasks such as payment collection and coordination, while increasing engagement. It allows admins to create events or teams and manage the e-shop. Members can register for events, pay membership fees online and engage other members via discussion boards. Admins can appoint team managers who in turn can add/delete/message team members, collect membership fees and coordinate training sessions.
